Robert Adams, Partner
Robert Adams became a founding partner of Adams Gallinar, P.A., following nearly eight years with Steel Hector & Davis, LLP, in Miami. Mr. Adams’ practice focuses on all phases of commercial transactions and finance, with a focus on international clients and creating the appropriate corporate and tax structures by which to facilitate their investments in the United States. Mr. Adams’ clientele includes numerous corporations, financial institutions, and wealthy individuals.
Mr. Adams was born in Coral Gables, Florida and grew up in Latin America, including extended stays in Colombia, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Having spent nearly eighteen years living and studying in Latin America and the Caribbean, Bob is completely bilingual (English and Spanish) and bicultural. Mr. Adams returned to the United States to obtain his undergraduate degree in Finance and International Business from Florida International University where he earned numerous honors and academic commendations, including induction into the honor societies of Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Eta Sigma, National Deans’ List, and “Who’s Who” awards. Mr. Adams then earned his law degree from the University of Miami, where he was awarded a full-tuition academic scholarship and was associate editor of the Law Review.
Mr. Adams’ fluency in the Spanish language and biculturalism make him uniquely qualified to attend to the needs of Miami’s and this firm’s predominantly international client base. His successful management of complex commercial transactions has included acquisitions, leasing, development, financing and joint venture issues.
Bob Adams is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar and the Dade County Bar Association. Bob is also a black-belt in Judo and a former Pan American Games “bronze” medalist. Bob is married, with three children, and lives in Pinecrest, Florida.
Michael Gallinar, Partner
Mike Gallinar also began his career at Steel Hector & Davis, and prides himself on his ability to both comprehend the financial complexities of sophisticated transactions and possess the people skills necessary to get the best possible results from difficult negotiations. Among his peers, Mr. Gallinar has a reputation for being able to maintain cordial, yet steadfast advocacy on behalf of his clients.
Prior to the formation of Adams Gallinar, P.A., Mr. Gallinar was a partner at the Florida law firm of Steel Hector & Davis LLP. Mr. Gallinar has represented a wide variety of national and international clients. He believes that corporations and high net-worth individuals can realize unique benefits from the personal service offered by a small firm made up of sophisticated, knowledgeable and savvy partners.
Mr. Gallinar was born in Miami Beach and attended high school in Miami Dade County. He received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Miami and was awarded a J. Pearson Scholarship and the Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award. Mr. Gallinar earned his law degree at the University of Pennsylvania and while in law school, attended the Wharton School of Business to enhance his facility in economics and finance.
Michael Gallinar is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. He is married and lives in Coral Gables, Florida.
Enrique Bascuas, Senior Associate
Enrique Bascuas is a senior associate of Adams Gallinar, P.A. He has experience in all aspects of commercial real estate lending including acquisition, development, construction and permanent financing. Enrique also has experience in the representation of developers and owners in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, construction and leasing of commercial real estate.
Mr. Bascuas was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997 and he is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Hispanic Association.
A native of Miami, Florida, Mr. Bascuas received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida (B.A., 1994), and he received his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. Mr. Bascuas is completely fluent in Spanish.
Jeffrey Rodriguez, Associate Attorney
Jeffrey Rodriguez is an associate attorney of Adams Gallinar, P.A.
Mr. Rodriguez was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008 and he is also a member of the Cuban American Bar Association.
A native of Miami, Florida, Mr. Rodriguez received his undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University (B.A., 2005), and he received his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law (in 2008). Mr. Rodriguez is completely fluent in Spanish.
